Upload a file with FTP

FTP is the file manager as a program. Do not paste the password into the website.

The server name, user and password are created in cPanel or Plesk. Do not write them on a support ticket.

  1. Create an FTP account in the panel and type the password into the program’s own field.
  2. Once connected, open the public_html or httpdocs folder.
  3. Drag the file in. Do not drop system files outside the site folder.
