TechNestexample.com and www.example.com are two names. Pointing one at the site and the other at an empty page confuses both the certificate and search. Pick one as the real address and send the other there.
The redirect should be permanent. A temporary redirect lets a search engine treat the two names as two sites. The certificate also has to cover the name you picked. The detail is on the certificate card.
