When a subdomain is the right address

A subdomain adds a word in front of the main name. People use it for a shop, a panel, or a trial. A visitor reads it as its own address. It should work that way.

Do not confuse it with a folder on the main site. A folder lives inside the same WordPress. A subdomain can point at another account if you want. You open the record from the domain DNS screen.
