TechNestA new box opens empty. Letters at the old firm stay there. To move them, open the old box over IMAP and pull the letters into the new box. Doing that before the DNS change keeps the mail in between from disappearing.
After the MX record points at the new mail, nothing new arrives in the old box. Copy first, then change the record. Business mail is on the mail shelf.
