Posts and the theme live at example.com/wp-admin. cPanel or Plesk is for files and the database. Mixing the two mixes the passwords. The WordPress password is not the panel password.

On Linux the install is done from cPanel. On Windows it is done from Plesk when Toolkit is on. If Toolkit is off, the install is not on that screen. The account shows in the panel.
